Nothing in this world gives me greater pleasure than being off the beaten path with my dogs and camera, stalking wildlife. A quarter of a million shots into becoming a professional photographer I decided the quickest way to get recognized by National Geographic was to start getting my photos and stories published. It's a long, hard road up the hill to National Geographic Magazine, littered with folks who crashed and burned trying to get there too fast. Going slowly and methodically, hitting speed-bumps deliberately and from every possible angle is the route I plan on taking. If I'm 100 years old before I get there, that's alright with me. Living in Okinawa has taught me to be patient; it's the Okinawan way.SOMEBODY ACTUALLY READS THIS STUFF. THIS WAS IN MY EMAIL: Hello Michael: We would be very interested in working with you, and perhaps we can be of help to you on your way to National Geographic. SHOULD I GO FOR IT ?
